Katie Branch
Before joining EEF in August 2018, Katie spent two and half years at GE Capital’s Energy Financial Services, managing a $1.6B portfolio of utility scale wind and solar structured tax equity investments.
Prior to Energy Financial Services, Katie was recruited by GE Treasury’s CRO to lead improvement in reporting of Financial Institution & Sovereign counter-party cash, investment and derivative exposure across GE to meet regulatory requirements following GE Capital SIFI designation; during her two years in Treasury, she successfully implemented a technology infrastructure to replace manual counter-party credit risk rating, limit management and exposure aggregation processes.
Katie spent the previous 12 years in risk roles of increasing responsibility at various GE Capital businesses, beginning with portfolio management and underwriting of asset-based and cash flow loans and later leading troubled-account resolutions in Workout & Restructuring for six years.
Katie received a B.S. in Health Policy and Management, with minor in Business Studies and Spanish, from Providence College, and an MBA from Fordham University.
